Why a Journal?
May. 12th, 2013 04:43 amI love to read. A good author can put words together in ways that make the page disappear and drop you into a world of their design where anything can happen. I don't have the stories in mind, I don't have the characters thought out, I am not an author. I do, however, enjoy to write. Finding the best way to spin a sentence to get across the intended impression is a fun and rewarding endeavor.
Thus a journal is a fun idea. Right now it is a dump of bits I've written elsewhere, but hopefully will become more than just a storage place. This gives me a place to muse and choose words. And more importantly it gives me an identity to compliment real authors. There are many out there who write wonderful stories, and I'm tired of leaving anonymous comments.
So this is to the authors, to the word smiths who keep me so entertained.
Thank You!
